Hardox® HiAce
Meet the new ace in corrosion-resistant wear steel for acidic and humid environments. Hardox® HiAce, the latest addition to the Hardox® wear plate range, is an ace at fighting both abrasive wear and corrosion. It features the same excellent mechanical properties as Hardox® 450, with a Brinell hardness of 425–475 HBW, with the addition of 2.7 times longer service life, when corrosion is present.

Hardox® HiTemp
Hardox® HiTemp is a high-heat grade of Hardox® wear plate. It provides a cost-efficient solution for wear resistance at high temperatures up to 500°C (930°F) with a nominal hardness of 400 HBW. When traditional quenched and tempered wear-resistant steels lose hardness at higher temperatures, Hardox® HiTemp steel still delivers high wear resistance.

Hardox® HiTuf
Hardox® HiTuf is not intend for further heat treatment. The properties of the delivery condition cannot be retained after exposure to temperatures in excess of 450ºC . Appropriate health and safety precautions must be taken when welding, cutting, grinding or otherwise working on this product. Grinding, especially of primer coated plates, may produce dust with a high particle concentration.

Hardox® 400
Hardox® 400 is an all-around steel that resists wear and abrasion with a nominal hardness of 400 HBW. Thanks to its high toughness, bendability and weldability, it’s well suited for equipment exposed to moderate wear applications.

Hardox® 450
Hardox® 450 is probably the world’s most recognized wear-resistant steel, with tight tolerances and excellent structural properties, only from SSAB. With a nominal hardness of 450 HBW, Hardox® 450 combines good bendability and excellent weldability. The extra 50 HBW hardness over our Hardox® 400 grade provides better dent and abrasion resistance as well as longer wear life. Or you can use the additional hardness to reduce plate thickness and get lighter equipment.

Hardox® 500 Tuf
Hardox® 500 Tuf wear plate, the latest grade in the Hardox range, delivers exceptional strength, hardness and toughness in a single plate, guaranteed. It has proven its value around the world in tipper and dump bodies, containers, mining equipment, agricultural machinery, liners and wear parts, and buckets of all kinds. Explore the heavy wear fighter Hardox® 500 Tuf!

Hardox® 550
Hardox® 550, with a nominal hardness of 550 HBW, offers a unique combination of excellent abrasion resistance, crack integrity and workshop performance. Hard and tough, it helps to extend the service life of wear parts in heavy-duty and high wear applications.

Hardox® 600
Hardox® 600, with a nominal hardness of 600 HBW, is an extra-hard wear resistant steel that can be cut and welded. It is designed for use in high-performing wear parts in harsh wear environments.

Hardox® Extreme
If you want extreme equipment performance, increased uptime and lower maintenance costs, Hardox® Extreme delivers. The world’s hardest wear plate, Hardox® Extreme is an abrasion-resistant steel with a Rockwell nominal hardness of 60 HRC or typical hardness of 650-700 HBW.

Hardox® round bars
If you want extreme equipment performance, increased uptime and lower maintenance costs, Hardox® Extreme delivers. The world’s hardest wear plate, Hardox® Extreme is an abrasion-resistant steel with a Rockwell nominal hardness of 60 HRC or typical hardness of 650-700 HBW.

Hardox® pipes and tubes
Abrasion-resistant steel pipes and tubes give you extreme performance and extended service life almost anywhere you have heavy wear. Despite their hardness, Hardox® pipes and tubes can be welded, cut, milled and drilled using standard workshop practices.
